Yandex to buy fashion e-store KupiVIP by Jul if antitrust approves

MOSCOW, May 31 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Yandex will acquire clothes online store KupiVIP, and the deal can be closed by July upon approval by the Federal Antimonopoly Services, the Internet company’s press service said on Monday.

The deal will accelerate Yandex.Market’s entrance to the market of clothes, footwear, and accessories thanks to developed infrastructure, a base of suppliers, and multi-year expertise of KupiVIP’s team.

Yandex.Market and KupiVIP will work alongside each other at first, but later they will be integrated with each other.
